Who is this for?
Singles aged 30+ who are looking for meaningful connections outside of dating apps. Whether you're hoping to meet a romantic partner or simply connect with like minded people, The Redefine offers a welcoming space to do both.
Where are the events held?
Events take place throughout Barrie every two weeks at a variety of venues including restaurants, lounges, bowling alleys, game rooms, and other indoor and outdoor locations. We regularly gather feedback from our members and use their suggestions to help shape future events.
What do I do when I arrive?
A member of The Redefine team will be there to welcome you and help you get settled in. We'll introduce ourselves, learn a little about you, and make sure you feel comfortable before the event gets underway.
What do I do at the events?
Events typically run for two hours, but you're welcome to stay for the entire event or drop in when you can.

The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and designed to make meeting people feel natural. Everyone attending is there for the same reason: to connect. Depending on the venue, you may grab a drink, enjoy a meal, participate in an activity, or simply spend the evening getting to know new people.

Every member is thoughtfully vetted for integrity, intention, professionalism, and emotional intelligence. This helps create an environment where people can feel comfortable being themselves and confident that others are there for the right reasons.
Through carefully curated events and a community built on mutual respect, we aim to create a space where authenticity comes first and meaningful connections can develop naturally.
How do I join and what does it cost?
Applying involves going through two "screeners". A simple set of questions that helps us learn about you, your preferences, and your goals. With these questions we can ensure that everyone that is a part of The Redefine is coming in for the right reasons and will get value for their money.
It typically takes about 20 minutes to get through the process. If successful a monthly fee of $60 will provide access to all of our exclusive events.
Who is The Redefine?
Local to Barrie, Brianna and Jody met while working as Psychotherapists at Jody’s well-known Psychotherapy practice in Barrie. Both have intensive backgrounds in psychology, attachment and relationships. Throughout their work they realized how loneliness and disconnect are no longer rare but rather a modern epidemic. Which is why it's time to Redefine dating.
The Redefine is a space designed to shift how people connect—moving beyond surface-level interactions into something more intentional, grounded, and real. Brianna and Jody are on a mission to fix modern dating culture and bring back meeting people face to face. Curating environments where conversation feels natural, connection feels safe, and people feel seen—not for who they present themselves to be, but for who they truly are.
